Young actor Abijeet, who made his debut with Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful, is now awaiting the release of his upcoming film titled ‘ Mirchi Lanti Kurradu’. On the eve of the film’s release, we caught up with Abhijeet for a brief chit chat. Let’s see what he has to say.
Q) Why is there a lot of gap in your career after Life Is Beautiful ?
The gap is not a planned one. After appearing in Life Is Beautiful, I went to the US on my personal work and I heard this subject during my stay over there. Despite the gap, I am happy to be back with Mirchi Lanti Kurradu.
Q) Why has this film been delayed from such a long time ?
Producer Rudrapati Ramana Rao got busy with Balakrishna’s Lion and also some big movies released in the due course. So, we had no other option than to postpone it till this week.
Q) Tell us briefly about Mirchi Lanti Kurradu ?
Mirchi Lanti Kurraduis a romantic action entertainer laced with all the commercial elements required for the audience. Director Jay Nag is making his debut with this film and he has good command on all the aspects required for a commercial hit movie.
Q) Tell us about your role in this film ?
I will be seen in the role of Siddu who is a rough and easy-going teenager. He trusts in the concept of loving only one girl and spending the rest of the life with her.
Q) How will this movie boost your career ?
This movie is very important for my career and I am confident that it will pave way for a better career in Tollywood.
Q) What are your upcoming projects ?
I haven’t signed any upcoming projects. I will finalize them after the release of this film.
