Natural star Nani, has been going great guns in his career. He has been doing some interesting projects and one of them, Gentleman is up for release this week. On this occasion, we caught up with Nani for a brief interview. Let’s see what he has to say.
Q)What is Gentleman all about ?
I do not want to give away any details of the film and spoil the suspense element attached which is also the selling point of the film. Let the audience watch for themselves and give their own feedback.
Q)Why did you name the film Gentleman ?
There was a lot of discussion before we confirmed Gentleman as the title. Once you watch the film, you will clearly understand why we named our film Gentleman.
Q)Are you playing a double role in the film ?
Even this, I do not want to reveal and have left it for the audience to figure it out when the film comes out.
Q)Did you accept this film only because you could not say no to Mohana Krishna ?
I never accept a film just because of my personal relationships. The script and especially my role should impress me.
Q)How was it working with Mohan after a long gap ?
He has improved a lot with his craft and is more clearer and confident about his scripts now. I had a great time working with him and he has extracted superb performance out of me.
Q)Are you open to multi-starrers ?
Why not ! For me, it is not about the screen time. If I feel that my character is showing a good impact on the film, I will surely do multi-starrers any time.
Q)Why are you not doing Tamil films ?
Frankly speaking, things were not working out for me because of the language barriers. Also, I was not getting decent scripts which excited me and that is why I am away from Tamil films. In future, if I get some thing interesting, I will see.
Q)Your upcoming projects ?
As of now, I am working on a film with director Virinchi Varma. I also have a film lined up with Bhavya Creations which will go on floors soon.
