Published on Mar 28, 2018 2:00 pm IST

Young hero, Nithin is looking for that one good hit to bounce back in the game. His latest film is Chal Mohan Ranga which is up for a release on the 5th of April. On this occasion, we caught up with him for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

What made you choose a love story yet again?

This film was okayed even before LIE but things did not work out. There was a lot of fine tuning that this film needed and once we were very confident, we went on floors.

Why didn’t you ask Trivikram to direct this film himself?

He gave us the entire story and characters of the film. He was very busy with his own projects and that is why we chose Krishna Chaitanya to direct the film. He has done a wonderful job and has narrated the film in a very interesting manner.

What made Pawan Kalyan produce this film?

Initially, both I and Trivkram wanted to produce this film together. As soon as Pawan garu knew about this, he also came forward and wanted to be a part of this project.

About your role in the film?

I play the role of Mohan Ranga whose aim is to go to the US at any cost. I have never played such a funny character in my entire career and I had a ball working on this film.

How tense are you about the film’s outcome?

I am very tense as some big names are involved with this project and we need to live up to all the expectations created by this project. To my knowledge, this film has come out quite well and will surely impress the audience.

Will you promote Pawan Political party?

Generally, I have no interest in politics at all. Pawan has made an entry to do for the society and if he requires my help, I will surely go and help him out.

Is Pawan doing a cameo in this film?

No. He is not doing any role in the film. But we have used him in a very clever way and the audience will feel that he is a part of the film throughout.

How is your film journey so far?

This is my 25th film and I am very happy with my career. I have seen major lows in my career and have also seen good times. Everything is a part and parcel of life and I am taking it one by one.
