Under the presentation of ‘King’ Nagarjuna in his Annapurna Studios banner, Hero Srikanth’s son Roshan is debuting as hero in ‘Nirmala Convent’. Shriya Sharma is playing the female lead in this film.

This youthful entertainer is jointly produced by Annapurna Studios, Matrix Team Works and Concept Film Productions. Nagarjuna played a crucial role in this film. ‘Nirmala Convent’ is scheduled to release on September 16th. On this occasion, Shriya Sharma interacted with the media and shared several interesting tidbits.

Q) About her Background

I am from Himachal Pradesh. My father is an engineer and mother is a dietician. I have been working in several commercials and TV serials since my childhood and gradually developed a strong passion towards acting.

Q) About her Character in Nirmala Convent

‘Nirmala Convent’ is a fresh, pure and an inspiring love stroy. I played the role of a girl named ‘Shanthi’. Contrary to her name, Shanthi is full of anger and envy. Most of the girls will connect with my character in this film.

Q) Working With Superstars

I debuted as heroine with ‘Gayakudu’. Earlier, I had acted with superstars like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan. Coming to ‘Nirmala Convent’ I worked with Nagarjuna sir for ‘Kotha Kotha Bhaasha…’ song. I am very happy working with such a big star and I also learned a lot of things from him.

Q) Working Experience With Roshan

Even though this is the first film for Roshan, he is quite confident before camera and gave a very good performance. We both discuss about the scenes before enacting them in front of the camera.

Q) About the Director

Director G. Nagakoteswara Rao sir did a great job in making the film. He dealt each and every scene filled with freshness. He took care in each and every detail. He is the main reason behind the film’s output, which has come out really very well.

Q) About music composer Roshan Saaluri

Music by Roshan Saaluri has already been a huge hit in the market. He is the main reason behind Nagarjuna sir singing a song in the film. That song has became instant chartbuster. He also gave a beautiful background score for the film. My favourite song in the album is the ‘Muddu’ song. Lyrics and picturisation are too good for that song.

Q) Future Films

Currently, I am waiting for the release of ‘Nirmala Convent’. Only after this film will I think about my next film in Telugu. A couple of offers came in my way, but nothing has been finalised yet. I will be doing a film in Hindi very soon.
