The audio of Andhala Rakshashi, a new Telugu film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, was launched last night at Annapurna Studios. Newcomers Naveen, Rahul and Lavanya have played lead roles in the film. It is being touted as a triangular love story story set in 1992. Sai Korrapati has produced the film on Varahi Feature films banner. S S Rajamouli, D Ramanaidu, M M Keeravani, Burugupalli Shivaramakrishna, Gunnam Gangaraju were some of the guests present at the event. Speaking at the event, S S Rajamouli said, “Sai is a passionate producer and I have know him quite well for the past six years. Usually, producers aren’t that excited when they agree to make a film because they are always thinking about the business but I noticed that Sai was extremely excited about the story which Hanu narrated it to him. Five years ago, Chandrasekhar Yeleti introduced me to Hanu who was working as his assistant back then. I didn’t notice him at first, but then when I saw Hanu’s short film on AIDS, I was completely blown away by the visuals. I can guarantee that he’s going to be a big director in future.” Radhan composed the music and Murali is the cinematographer. The film will hit the screens later this year.
