Ace director S.S.Rajamouli’s graphical magnum opus ‘Eega’ has made it to the Film Federation of India’s Oscar Nomination shortlist. India nominates one film each year for the category of ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ and shortlist is prepared for the federation to choose from. ‘Eega’ is in that list.
The screening of the film in the list will begin from September 18th and will last until the 26th of this month. The screening will be held in Hyderabad. Here is a list of films under consideration. Let us hope ‘Eega’ is selected as the final choice. There is tough competition from Bollywood in the form of ‘Barfi’ and ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
