Legendary Thespian Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao is a source of Telugu Pride and he was remembered by his fans and the entire Telugu speaking community on the eve of his 19th death anniversary today.Born in 1923 in Nimmakuru village in Krishna district, NTR made his feature film debut with ‘Mana Desam’ in 1949. In an illustrious career spanning over five decades, NTR captivated generations of movie lovers with his mesmerizing grace and acting prowess which was elevated by the numerous characters that explored his genius.
After enthralling his fans across the world for years, NTR took to politics and established the Telugu Desam Party and contested in the 1983 general elections, which led him to the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state’s Chief Minister chair. NTR touched the hearts of poor and the middle class people through his various developmental schemes and
committed governance and got his name engraved as the Messiah of the Masses.After a glorious life full of rare honors and eternal craze among the masses, the legend breathed his last in 18th January 1996. The entire Nandamuri family paid rich tributes to NTR at his Ghat in Hyderabad today.
