The traditional take home point for heroines is that the hotter they appear, the more offers they get. So it is no surprise that we get to see mind blowing poses of heroines in hot photo shoots, whether she is a budding star or a veteran. Cutie Kajal Aggarwal thinks differently about this though. “How can you judge the talent of an actress from the outcome of one or two photo shoots? Hot photos alone will not get you ahead in the industry. People judge you on your performance over time.”, she says.
Bollywood heroines tend to be a little more liberal with their glamour than their South Indian counterparts, so when asked about her reserved dressing in ‘Singham’, she said “That was the look required for that role. I don’t mind becoming ultra glamorous if the role demands. I have no reservations on what I should wear on the screen. I am open to all options. In fact, the director and producer should know what I look best in on the screen. The costumes are designed to meet the demands of the story and character”.
Are you listening dear Directors? Kajal doesn’t mind doing an ultra glamorous role. She is going to be very busy for the rest of the year and beyond, with her multiple projects in Tamil and Telugu. Around Diwali time Kajal will be seen in two Tamil movies following which she will please her Telugu fans with films like Mahesh Babu’s untitled movie, NTR’s ‘Baadshah’ and Ram Charan’s ‘Nayak’.
