Talented actress Pranitha Subhash has become quite famous in Tollywood off late. She is the solo female lead in Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film Dynamite which is up for release soon. On this occasion, we caught up with her for a brief interview. Let’s see what she has to say.
Q)How does it feel to be a solo lead finally ?
It feels great and am very excited about the film’s release which will give a huge push to my career.
Q)Tell us about your character in the film ?
I play a modern Hyderabadi girl who gets stuck in a tricky situation and how she manages to come out of it with the help of Vishnu is the whole film about.
Q)How important is your character to the film ?
I play a very crucial role and it is because of my character the so called twists and turns occur in the film.
Q)Heard that you have done a lot of stunts in the film ?
Yes ! As my character appears throughout the film, I was involved in a lot of action sequences. Shooting for these stunts was actually one of the most toughest part of the film.
Q)How was it working with Vishnu ?
Vishnu has very different approach towards film making. He has good knowledge and always tries to bring in international standards in all his films. He was very helpful during the shoot and made me feel at home.
Q)How different is Dynamite from the original ?
We have made a lot of changes to the remake and our director Deva Katta has made it more commercial to suit Telugu audience.
Q)You seem to speak Telugu pretty well. Are you taking any training ?
No ! I just picked it up by talking to my crew in Telugu and I wish to dub for my films pretty soon.
Q)What do you look for when signing a film ?
For me, my character is very important. It is not the length of the role but the essence it carries forward.
Q)What are your future projects ?
As of now, I have okayed Mahesh’s film and have two other projects lined up which I will announce soon.
