Stalwart actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is fast wrapping up the post-production formalities for his much-delayed film on global terrorism, Vishwaroopam 2. The film is a sequel to the blockbuster espionage thriller, Vishwaroopam, that released in 2013.
Vishwaroopam 2 was supposed to hit the screens on January 26, but Kamal’s preparations for his political entry delayed the film’s release. But as per the latest buzz in the Tamil film circles, Kamal is planning to release the film on April 13, as a Tamil New Year treat for fans.
Vishwaroopam 2 also features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Shekar Kapur in prominent roles. Ghibran is the film’s music composer. Apart from playing the main lead, Kamal has also written, directed and produced this highly-anticipated action thriller.
