The brutal murder of Gauri Lankesh, noted journalist and activist from Bengaluru, has led to a nationwide uproar. Several celebrities from all quarters of life vehemently condemned the heinous killing. Numero uno film star and Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan is one of the very few Tollywood celebs to react on Gauri’s murder.
Pawan took to Twitter and shot a series of tweets, condemning Gauri’s murder. Pawan said that a bullet in the forehead cannot and will not stop the expression of a committed individual equipped with a tiny pen in her hand and raging fire in the heart for social commitment and justice.
The Janasena Chief further said that India being culturally and geographically diverse, there will be opposing political views. He then said that he doesn’t know if the perpetrators of this murder will ever be caught and punished, but opined that they are losing their ground.
