The makers of Krishnam Vandae Jagadguru are upbeat and, that is being modestly put. In fact they are so confident that they are saying the movie will do to Rana what Khaidi did for Chiranjeevi. In this movie, his sixth including his two Hindi releases, Rana’s character is named B.Tech Babu and the script is a full-fledged action entertainer. Writer Burra Sai Maddhav said that when he thought about the storyline he had Venkatesh in mind, but as the script developed he noticed that Rana would be a better fit for the role.
Speaking to journalists on the muhurat shooting day Rana said that he loved action entertainers and this role is giving him an opportunity to act as a hero in one. Music for the movie is by Keeravani, and the lyrics for the songs have been written by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. The movie is directed by Krish of Gamyam fame and produced by Rajiv Reddy.
