American Swan, a global online fashion and lifestyle brand, has roped in Shruti Haasan as their new digital brand ambassador. The US based brand had launched its operations in India in November 2012 and first they roped in crickets Unmukt Chand as their sports brand ambassador. Talking about why the company chose Shruti Haasan, the CEO Anurag Rajpal said, “Shruti as our choice of as a brand ambassador is keeping in mind the spirit of the youth: someone who is vivacious, fun and someone who dreams without fear. She is a young and multi-talented actress who dons many hats.” Confirming her endorsement deal with the company, Shruti Haasan posted on Twitter saying, “Delighted to join @AmericanSwan #FashionCountry! Love the threads – very stylish & SO comfortable!” In the past, Shruti Haasan had endorsed brands like Cornetto and Kalanjali.
