Few days ago, we had reported that Madhavan is going to team up with Saif Ali Khan, after a gap of 17 years, for an upcoming historical drama that’s set in Rajasthan. As per the latest buzz the actor has opted out of the film and the makers are looking to cast another prominent actor for the same role.
Although Madhavan was quite keen on joining the cast soon, his shoulder injury and the subsequent surgery has put him out of action for several weeks altogether. Moreover, doctors are said to have advised him complete rest for some more time before he takes up any major physical activity.
Owing to all these factors, Madhavan is said to have told Navdeep Singh and Anand L Rai, who are directing and producing the film respectively, that he isn’t fit yet to take part in the shoot. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has already begun shooting for the film, which will be shot in Rajasthan, UP, and Mumbai.
