Madhavan, who’ll soon be seen in Savyasachi, has reportedly signed a historical drama which will also star Saif Ali Khan. The two had worked previously in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, a remake of Cheli, which released 17 years ago in Hindi.
At this moment, it’s not yet clear whether it’s based on a true story or not; however, buzz is that both the actors will be undergoing training in horse riding and sword fighting. Anand L Rai is going to produce it, and Navdeep Singh, who had made Phillauri, NH10 in the past, will direct it.
Zoya Hussain has been chosen as the lead actress. Most part of the film, which is set in Rajasthan, will be shot in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai. More details are expected to be announced soon.
