It is known that Dil Raju is all set to remake the classic Kamal Hassan starrer 'Maro Charitra'. He has already acquired the rights of the classic from K Balachander and has announced that Varun Sandesh will act in the lead role in the film while Mickey J Meyer will score the music for the flick. Dil Raju is said to be making slight changes in the script to suit today's sensibilities. While Kamal Hassan played a Tamil brahmin and Saritha played an orthodox Christian in the movie, Varun Sandesh will be portrayed as an NRI Christian lad while the heroine will be shown as a pure Telugu brahmin girl in the flick. An NRI girl settled in USA is said to be Dil Raju's final choice for the heroine's role. Raju is said to be planning to start the film only after finishing the shoot of a major part of Naga Chaitanya's flick.
