Kamal Hassan's magnum opus project Marmayogi is almost certainly shelved for now. With Pyramid Saimira pulling out of the project due to the heavy losses they incurred with 'Kathanayakudu', Kamal is yet to find a backer. The film's budget is said to be around Rs. 120 crores. Kamal has apparently decided now to make a quick comedy in his own direction. Kamal apparently has the script ready and the shoot is mostly going to start in January 2009. Rest of the details are being worked out.
