Universal star Kamal Hassan denied rumors that his ambitious magnum opus Marmayogi has been stalled. 'Marmayogi has only been postponed due to Pyramid Saimira pulling out of the project. The casting and other crew details of the film have been finalized already. The film will definitely happen. Meanwhile, I'm acting in a comedy film. The details of this film will be announced soon', said Kamal. Marmayogi is touted to be India's costliest film ever and is set in the 6th century backdrop. Trisha and Shreya play the leading ladies in the film, while 'Victory' Venkatesh plays an important role.
