According to media reports, senior actor Prakash Raj and veteran director K Raghavendra Rao left the Nandi awards function in a huff yesterday. The bone of contention seemed to be the fact that the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy chose to leave the function after giving a few main awards. The senior actor and director were apparently displeased at the fact that they were not considered important enough and left without taking their awards. The arrangements have also come under criticism from the media as there were no shelter provided from the continuous rain and also the stage was improperly elevated.
