The first look of Sudheer Babu, Nandita starrer Premakatha Chitram was launched earlier today in Hyderabad. Ramesh Prasad launched the first look of the film. Maruthi, Sudheer Babu, J Prabhakar Reddy, JB, Swamy, Sudharshan Reddy and Nandita attended the event. J Prabhakar Reddy is the cinematographer and director of the film whereas Maruthi has written the story and dialogues, apart from supervising the direction.
Talking about the film, Maruthi said, “Premakatha Chitram is going to be a clean romantic and family entertainer, unlike my past two films. When I made Bus Stop, a lot of people criticized me about my style. I can assure all those people that Premakatha Chitram will be a completely different experience altogether. I have struggled a lot to reach this stage and this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my friends and colleagues. Sudheer Babu has done a fabulous job in the film and Nandita’s performance is mindblowing.” The film’s shooting has been wrapped up and the audio is going to be launched on April 14 and the movie will hit the screens on May 10.
This is Sudheer Babu’s second film and he said, “My debut film SMS got a mixed response. Even Mahesh Babu advised me to work on my voice. I think I have improved a lot and Premakatha Chitram will surprise everyone. I thank my producer Sudharshan Reddy, Prabhakar Reddy and Maruthi for their support.”
