India’s first World War 2 film ‘Kanche’ is all set to release in 130+ theatres across all locations in US with premiere shows on October 21 and regular shows from October 22. The movie has already completed Censor formalities and has been awarded U/A by the board.
Kanche is directed by the ace director Krish who has rendered acclaimed movies like Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum in the past. Kanche is set against the backdrop of WW2 with young Mega hero Varun Tej playing the role of an Indian soldier and debutant heroine Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead. The war sequences in the movie were shot in Georgia in real WW2 location and weapons.
Bollywood music director Chirantan Bhatt has composed the tunes for this film and well known writer Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry garu has penned all the songs. The audio album has been released through Aditya Music and has already created its own mark in the industry. Jagarlamudi Sai Babu and Rajiv Reddy are producing the film on First Frame Entertainments banner.
Absolute Telugu Cinemas is bringing this movie to the overseas audience and is planning for a grand opening for this mega war movie. The complete list of theatres along with show timings will be released soon.
