Director K.V. Anand has denied the Economic Times report and had this to say “Friends,All are Nothing but RUMOURS. Unless otherwise a MaattrraaN of mine went around and signed the film 🙂 :)” .

So far, neither Rajinikanth nor Eros have released a statement over the matter and clarity is expected once they have something to say.

Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to work for a new mega budget film. The movie is going to be produced by Eros International and noted director K.V.Anand will be handling the project. The news was broken by Economic Times and a source was quoted as saying that the budget of the film would be in the region of a 100 Crores.

The news should bring great cheer to Rajinikanth’s fans. The Superstar is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Kochadaiyaan’ . K.V.Anand worked with Rajinikanth as a cinematographer for the super hit film ‘Shivaji’.

With Rajinikanth’s market expanding tremendously across the world in recent years, a 100 Crore budget should be a pretty safe bet.
