For the past few years, Rana has been hand-picking quite a few films like Baahubali, Ghazi, Rudhramadevi to name a few, which have made him the go to person for anyone who has an interesting story to tell. His next set of films like Hathi Mere Saathi, 1945, Marthanda Varma too are expected to strengthen his image as an actor with an unique taste.
The latest buzz in the industry is that Rana is keen to put together a biopic of Kodi Rammurthy Naidu, a famous wrestler who stunned the British empire with his wrestling skills in the early 20th century. He was so popular that King George even conferred the titles like Indian Hercules and Kaliyuga Bheema to him.
Rana has spoken about the famous wrestler in the past, and it is only now that two big production houses are coming together to give life to this project with Rana playing the title role. More details about the project are awaited.
