Resul Pookutty became a household name after winning the Oscar award for his work in Slumdog Millionaire. This sound recordist has now shifted gears and is gearing up to direct his debut film soon.
Interesting update is that the film will be made on a huge budget of 300 crores. Resul is currently in talks with a few big wig corporate houses in India to bankroll this project. More details of this film and its genre will be revealed soon.
