ANR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Manam’ has found a new fan in none other than RGV himself. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film also stars Shriya and Samantha in lead roles. Nagarjuna himself is producing the film under Annapurna Studios banner and this is the last film ANR has acted in before he passed away last week.
RGV reportedly saw the rushes of the film recently and he couldn’t stop raving about the film since then. Sharing his views about the film on Twitter, he said, “Just caught a glimpse of ANR’S NAG’S and CHAITANYA’S ‘MANAM’ and I am so happy that telugu cinema has finally come of age. ‘MANAM’ is the most original feel of a film I have seen since a very long time and Vikram is the most promising director I ever met in years. (sic)” Commenting about the star cast, he added, “The looks of ANR, NAG and CHAITANYA and the overall images are startingly refreshing ..film enthusiasts shud watch out for Director Vikram. (sic)”
Details about the story aren’t clear yet, but the entire team of the film is quite excited about how it’s shaping up. Most of the film has already been wrapped up and it’s gearing up for release later this summer. Anup Rubens has scored the music.
