After a brief gap, Samantha is all set to join the team of her upcoming Tamil film, Kaththi in Chennai.
Vijay is playing the lead role in this action entertainer and last month, it was shot for few days in Hyderabad. A R Murugadoss is directing the film.
Most part of the film has already been wrapped up and the makers are planning to get the film ready for release for Diwali later this year. Neil Nitin Mukesh is playing the main villain’s role in the film and it’s the first time Samantha is teaming up with Vijay. Since AR Murugadoss and Vijay had delivered a big blockbuster like Thuppaki last time they worked together, naturally there are high expectations on this film as well.
Apart from Kaththi, Samantha will also be seen in Suriya’s Anjaan and she’s in talks with couple of other filmmakers in Tamil. A formal announcement about her future projects is expected to be made soon.
