The transformation that Shruti Haasan has undergone over the past few days is quite shocking to say the least. So far, in most of her Telugu and Tamil films, she played the girl-next-door roles and her glamour quotient was quite subtle. But if the recent two events are anything to go by, it looks like the actress has decided to undergo a major transformation.

First it was the photoshoot for Maxim magazine which stunned a lot of people and Shruti Haasan was bombarded with messages and tweets from her fans who were shocked to see her on the cover page. Earlier today, a picture from her upcoming Hindi film D-Day was released and the actress revealed that she’s playing the role of a prostitute in the film. “Thankyou for the super response to the d day pic it was an intense and challenging character to play and i hope you’ll love it !!” she posted on Twitter.

On the other hand, she’ll be seen in her most glamorous avatar, so far in Telugu, in her upcoming film Balupu. The film also stars Ravi Teja and Anjali in lead roles and it’s slated for release in June. Apart from this film, Shruti Haasan also has Yevadu and NTR’s Ramayya Vastavayya lined up for release later this year.
