More than 15 years after his debut in Telugu and Tamil cinema, actor Siddharth is finally making his foray in Malayalam cinema. The actor has played a crucial role in an upcoming film titled Kammara Sambhavam. The film, written by Murali Gopy and directed by Rathish Ambat, stars Dileep in the lead role, and the first look was unveiled today.
The film was launched in August, 2016; however, it was put on hold following the arrest of Dileep, whose name was linked to a sexual assault case of a prominent actress. The shooting resumed soon after he was released from jail, and Siddharth wrapped up shooting his portions in December last year.
Talking about the film, Siddharth tweeted, “#Kammarasambhavam First Look. My first Malayalam film… This is a very special picture. Directed by Rathish Ambat. Written by Murali Gopy. Starring the venerable Dileepettan. Eagerly waiting for this one. It begins…”
