Indian Idol winner and popular singer Sreeram Chandra is all set to make his debut as an actor. He’s going to play the role of King Amaruka in JK Bharavi’s upcoming devotional film Jagadguru Adi Shankara. Kamna Jethmalani is playing the lead role opposite Sreeram Chandra in the film. In recent years, some singers and music directors have played small roles or cameos in films; however, Sreeram Chandra is playing one of the main roles in his debut film. Nagarjuna and Mohan Babu will be seen in important roles in the film. Kaushik is playing the lead role of Aadi Shankaracharya in the film and top directors like Dasari Narayana Rao and K Raghavendra Rao have reportedly heaped praises on him. Nag Srivaths has composed the music. Global Peace Creatives banner is producing the film.
