Telugu film industry is going to end 2012 with a busy weekend at box office. As many as four films are lined up for release this weekend and almost of them are looking forward to be a big release across the state. On December 27, Allari Naresh, Richa Panai starrer Yamudiki Mogudu is slated for release. After Sudigadu turned out to be a hit, all eyes are on Yamudiki Mogudu and if this film turns out to be a hit, it’ll be two in a row for Allari Naresh. On December 28, three films – Vishal, Trisha starrer Vetaadu Ventadu, Genius and Ko Antey Koti are expected to hit the screens. Ko Antey Koti has Sharwanand and Priya Anand in lead roles and since it’s Sharwanand’s first film as a producer he’s doing everything he can to promote the film. On the other hand, popular anchor turned director Omkar is making his debut as a director with Genius which has Havish in lead role. Genius is being released in more than 300 screens across the state and the producer has already spent almost Rs 12 crores on the film. Although most of these films are made with a medium budget, they are bound to eat into each other’s revenue at box office and it remains to be seen how many films the audience ends up liking. With Sankranthi releases less than two weeks away, all these four films are going to face an uphill task to pull the audience to the theatres till they reap profits.
