Young filmmaker Sujeeth surprised everyone when he grabbed the opportunity to direct Rebel Star Prabhas for his second project. Well, not just the normal people, even Sujeeth himself couldn’t believe Prabhas when the Baahubali star had asked him to write a script for him during the success party of Sujeeth’s first film, Run Raja Run.
Explaining in detail, Sujeeth told a leading English news daily that he did not take Prabhas’ words seriously and thought it was just a ‘casual party talk’. But to his surprise, Prabhas enquired Sujeeth about the script’s progress after a few months and scolded the young director for not penning the script.
It was then that Sujeeth sat down and started working on the script and narrated the rough draft in January 2015, months before Baahubali The Beginning’s release, and got Prabhas’ approval.
Sujeeth further says that Baahubali’s monstrous success has not changed Prabhas even an inch and that the Rebel Star had told him before flying to the US recently, “Don’t worry about anything. Let’s just make the film we decided to make, no more, no less.”
