Deva Katta’s Auto Nagar Surya is gearing up for release tomorrow. The film went through a lot of problems till this stage and is finally seeing the light of the day.

Deva Katta has reportedly put in a lot of efforts and will most definitely have social elements in the film. The director stated that this whole story has stemmed from an incident he read in a newspaper. Apparently in that incident, a software employee’s wife and kid were thrown out of a train by drunken police. However, there is no reference to this incident in the movie.

Looking at the teaser and dialogues, it is evident that this movie will have some deep thoughts and intense opinions on our society and people. But how many films did we actually see scoring well at the box office with some social message ?

In the past director Shankar has been highly successful with his films in this genre. We will have to wait and watch if Deva Katta can engage the audience in this film.

It will be interesting to see Naga Chaithanya in this film after his decent performance in Manam, and Samantha’s presence will surely add to this film. Lets hope this film breaks out of the commercial movie trend and becomes succesful
