Rudhramadevi, the first ever 3D historical drama on Indian screen, is up for a grand release on October 9th. Nearly three years of hard work has been put into this magnum opus and the makers have spent a fortune to recreate the settings of the 13th century. Anushka plays the titular role in the film which also has Allu Arjun, Rana, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju and few other established artists in crucial roles. Filmmaker Gunasekhar, who directed and produced the film, is confident about the film’s success. Now the major talking point among the audience is –Will Rudhramdevi live up to its expectations ? Let’s us see what aspects are favoring this big ticket film.

The story is going to be the major highlight for the film. It is well known that the Kakatiya kingdom has a lot of prominence in history , but it was never explored by any filmmaker till now. No doubt, Gunasekhar is the right person to direct the film. His cinematic rhythm is flawless because he is an expert while handling stories with historical and mythological background. Gunasekhar and the rest of the team are very confident that the audience will feel the history of Kakatiya kingdom after watching Rudhramadevi. The VFX touch is also going to be one of the major assets to the film. Gunasekhar asserted that they have used VFX on par with the story without any exaggeration.

Also, the performances from the ensemble star cast are going to be a big advantage for the film. Anushka’s presence is going to help the movie big time and the crucial roles from Allu Arjun and Rana are going to draw the attention of the audience for sure. Adding more grace to the film are Nitya Menon and Catherine Tresa, whose glamour quotient will be a special attraction for the film. Illayaraja’s music and background score will be additional advantage for the film.

The film is carrying a lot of expectations among the audience and Gunasekhar is aiming big with this historical film. With a number of positives going its way, Rudhramadevi seems to be a sure shot winner at the box office.
