A couple of days ago, musical genius AR Rahman gave us the Oscar hope by making it to the final round of nominations at the 89th Academy Awards. Rahman is in race for the Oscar for his original score and ‘Ginga’ song for the Hollywood production, Pele: Birth of a Legend.
In a latest update, the song ‘We Will Rise’ from the soon to be released Malayalam historical drama, ‘Veeram-Macbeth’, too had made it to the final round and is in race for an Oscar nomination. The song is composed by Jeff Rona and penned and sung by Jeff and Kari Kimmel.
Veeram is being directed by popular Malayalam star Jayaraj and it stars Bollywood hero Kunal Kapoor as the protagonist.
