Rs. 25 lacs robbed in a flat in Srinagar colony

The upscale locality of Srinagar colony in Hyderabad was rocked by the news of a very high profile robbery. A doctor residing in Padmaja Towers building in the colony was robbed of Rs. 25 lacs worth of valuables and cash. According to the news filtering in, the police have rushed to the apartment and are examining the place for finger prints and other evidences. They have questioned the watchman of the building and vendors on the street. The police though are yet to make any arrests. Due to sky rocketing property and rental values what was once a predominantly residential area has attracted a lot of offices. This has led to the residents losing their peace of mind. Most of them complain that they continue to be disturbed at odd hours and have little or no control over the movements of strangers into and out of their apartment complexes.
