Pulluri Sashank, a 22 year old student who was doing his MBA program in the
University of Middle Tennessee was shot at near his apartment. He had come
home after an outing and was getting his bag from a car, when he was shot
at by a yet-to-be identified African American. Sashank was immediately
rushed to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment. According to
reports last received Sashank is set to be out of danger. Unlike Arpana
Jinaja, T Soumya, A.Srinivas, K. Chandrasekhar Reddy, and Allam Kiran
Kumar, Sashank has been lucky enough to survive. The crimes against the
Indian students have been on the increase since the last academic year and
the parents of Children who are now studying in the US are a worried lot.
The randomness of these crimes is making it all the more difficult for the
law enforcement agencies, who as of now, are unable to unearth any pattern
whatsoever. Sashank did his B.E form a private engineering college in
Warangal and hails from Hanamkonda.
