Andhrajyothi's latest – NTP to merge with PRP

18 November 2008, Hyderabad.

Andhrajyothi, which seems to have a scoop a day as its aim, has come out with its latest. According to a report published today, the daily claims that Devender Goud's Nava Telangana party is all set to merge with the PRP. The merger will happen soon and this is said to be a move to strengthen the party's hold in Telangana district. Also, if the daily is to be believed, the seemingly united Congress party is just a sham. There is apparently a storm brewing underneath. The Congress leadership's ploy to weaken the Telangana leadership ever since they came to power is said to be backfiring on the party now. The Congress leaders from Telangana are said to be of the opinion that the party's position in the area is weak and the pacts between TDP-TRS-CPI and PRP-NTP will weaken the Congress' hold further. A number of these leaders including MLA's and Ministers are now said to be looking to the PRP and are already in talks.
