It used to be B to A earlier. Bhimavaram to America was the slogan for thousands of young men who used to come to Hyderabad to join software courses and fly off to the USA. Ameerpet was the most sought after destination in Hyderabad and many hostels used to do thriving business in and around the area. Now, there is trouble in the hostel paradise. The new slogan in Ameerpet is Back to Bhimavaram. With recruitments becoming a distant dream and people considering themselves to be lucky to hold on to their jobs, more and more young men are opting to look for other pastures. The indirect effect is on the hostels surrounding the area. Many families in the area were eking out a livelihood by providing PG accommodation to the students in the area but now they are finding it tough to make ends meet. Where will this all send is the question that everyone is asking but nobody seems to be answering it for now.
