Pubs in the city are now serving their favourite customers the infamous
Bond cocktail. This cocktail’s recipe seems to have been copied from the
latest Bond movie “Quantum of Solace.” It is a very potent mix of three
varieties of hard liquors and is served neat with just a slice of lemon for
effect. It must however be said that, this is one very “strong” drink
and is very unlike the "shaken not stirred" martini that the James Bond
usually has. But then again, the ragingly fit Daniel Crag is unlike any
other Bond either. The rugged, six-pack Aussie actor can probably take the
“Bond” cocktail and hold his own. The question is whether you can. So,
unless you can are a seasoned cocktail person yourself, you are better off
staying away from this drink. However if you are one of those Bond movie
lovers, you would be wise to ask the bartender to dilute your drink just
that wee bit, so that you can find your way back home!
