India scored the highest ever total anyone scored against England, they also scored their second highest score ever and handed England their third biggest loss ever. That should be sufficient to tell the sorry tale of an England team that was all at sea against an inspired Indian team today. The one-day international match at Rajkot turned out to be a complete one-sided affair with India dominating the proceedings from ball one. Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag scored superb fifties, Yuvraj scored a superb century and Raina and Dhoni pitched in with cameos and took India to 387. Kevin Pietersen and Ravi Bopara scored half centuries, but to chase 387 you need much more than a couple cameos and England were shot out for 229.
