A successful son wanting revenge on the relatives who ill-treated his loving mother, this could have been a Tollywood script. But when Jr. NTR is the son in question, and the relatives referred to are the rest of the Nandamuri clan, then the scene shifts from reel to real. The Congress has made no secret of the fact that it needs all the firepower that Tollywood can provide. It has roped in Rajasekhar, Krishna, Nagarjuna, Jayasudha and Dharmavarapu Subhramanyam for its publicity capsules. But the party has now trained its focus on netting a much bigger catch – Jr. NTR, the son of Harikrishna and the grandson of NTR. The Congress, rightly, feels that if Jr.NTR were to throw his weight with their party, the TDP can be halted right in its tracks. According to sources close to the party, there are unconfirmed reports that Mrs D. Purandareswari Devi, the aunt of Jr. NTR has been approached to talk to her nephew and explore possibilities of taking the next steps
