Senior Congress leader and former MP, P Sivasankar joined the Praja Rajyam party in the presence of the party president Chiranjeevi today. The leader had recently resigned from the Congress party citing the party's moral decline as the reason. Sivasankar spoke to the press after joining the PRP. He said that the Congress was in a moral decline and the president Smt. Sonia Gandhi herself lacked basic values. He said that he liked Chiranjeevi's party ideals and believed strongly that the change that people wanted would only come through Chiranjeevi. There is also news that another senior Congress leader Upendra will be joining the PRP on the 24th of November. Upendra has announced that he will not be contesting in the polls but he would only play the role of an advisor in the party.
