A NRI Palem Srikanth Reddy has been appointed the head of TDP’s “Sanketika Nipunula Vibhagam”. Inspired by Obama’s ability to mobilize a huge turnout of youth voters, Chandrababu Naidu has put together a 40-member team of IT professionals to propagate TDP’s policies among various sections of people in the state. The TDP is also planning a high intensity blitz of SMS to young voters in towns and villages. The TDP is hoping to cash in on the growing dissatisfaction among young voters on the employment front. A lot of small and medium scale industries employing semi skilled and unskilled labor have begun layoffs due to the cash crunch. These numbers are expected to only increase as the election date draws near. Chandrababu during his Mee Kosam yatra had promised a slew of subsidies for the youth. He now intends to use the Sanketika Nipunula Vibhagam to remind them of all those promises and more importantly assure the youth that the TDP would deliver on these promises. |
