The Congress seems to have realized finally that a concrete decision on the Telangana issue is compulsory and that the decision needs to come fast enough. The Congress core committee for the separate state is all set to meet on November 26 and 27 and Chief Minister Dr. YSR has been invited to the meet. The separate state issue has gained all the more significance due to the TRS chief KCR making a statement that the Congress high command had responded positively to the Telangana issue and that a separate state was only a week away. In addition, state Congress incharge D Srinivas also said that a clear statement about the Telangana issue was necessary before elections adding fuel to the fire. The focus has now shifted to the core committee meeting on November 26 and a positive decision is widely expected.
