In a shocking incident, the Vice-Principal of a Junior College in the city robbed the house of one of his ex-students. MV Narasimha Rao, who is the vice-principal of three branches of the Chaitanya Junior Colleges in the city. Narasimha Rao befriended K Kesava Rao, father of Vaibhav, a student from Kurnool who studied under him two years ago. He used to visit Vaibhav's house in Kurnool whenever he went there. Two days ago, Narasimha Rao visited Vaibhav's home in Kurnool and upon finding that Vaibhav's mother was alone at home, offered her a cool drink laced with drugs and decamped with around 8 tolas of gold that was there in the house. The shocked woman complained to her husband after regaining consciousness who in turn reported to the police. The police checked Narasimha Rao's cell phone records and found that he called a woman in Ramanthapur frequently. They approached the woman and made her call Narasimha Rao to her place. The moment the culprit arrived, he was nabbed and the gold was recovered.
