The three day Sahasra Poorna Chandra Viswasanthi yagnam concluded with a poornahuti yesterday in Puttaparthi. The yagnam was conducted as part of the 83rd birthday celebrations of Sri Satya Sai Baba. Baba came to the yagnam in his golden chariot much to the happiness of the devotees gathered there as Baba adorned the chariot after 15 years. 7 different peetadhipatis from the country attended the purnahuti of the yagnam. Maharashtra chief minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh, VHP president Ashok Singhal, State minister Geeta Reddy, retired Chief Justice Bhagavathi, Retired DGP Dora and veteran filmstars Anjali, Jamuna, Sowcar Janaki and actor Sai Kumar participated in the yagnam. Baba's official birthday celebrations will start off today with the Rathotsavam of Venugopala Swami.
