Yuvraj's allround brilliance fetches India an easy win

17 November 2008, Hyderabad.

Yuvraj Singh is hurting real bad that the vice-captaincy was taken away from him. And he is determined to let his bat do all the talking. The dashing left hand batsman notched up his second successive century in the ongoing series against England and finished with a score of 118 in India's total of 292/9. Gautam Gambhir's 70 and Yusuf Pathan's 29 ball 50 were the other notable contributions. England started off by losing their first wicket in the first over, but then consolidated and seemed on par to a victory. But then it was Yuvraj to the fore again as he took four wickets with his part time spin bowling. Sehwag chipped in with 3 wickets and Bhajji and Yusuf Pathan pitched in with a wicket each for the Indians as England were dismissed for 238. India now lead the 7 match series 2-0.
