Chiranjeevi's impact on the political sphere in AP is yet to become clear, but it is certainly causing some waves in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. Tamil daily Dinamalar reported yesterday that Rajnikanth fans are amazed by the response to Chiranjeevi's political entry and are now clamoring for their superstar to do the same. Rajni fans have always been keen that their star enters politics. The buzz was at a high when Vijaykanth and Sarath Kumar entered politics earlier, but with Rajni not showing interest, it faded out. Now, after Chiranjeevi's well reported entry, it is reported that presidents of Rajni fans associations from twelve districts met Statewide Rajni fans association president Satyanarayanan at his residence in Chennai. They told Mr. Satyanarayanan that even if Rajni does not want to enter politics full time, they atleast want him to start a social service organization where in they could show how strong they were. Mr. Satyanarayanan immediately called up Rajnikanth, who is in Brazil for the shoot of 'Robot' (now renamed as 'Yantram'). Rajni said that he will come back from the shoot on October 1 and will immediately meet all the district presidents. He assured them that after taking all their opinions, he will finally take a favorable decision. Rajni fans are overjoyed and they think this is a sure sign of their Thalaivaa' entering state politics.
