Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi's statewide tour is most likely to start from September 26. The tour is most likely to kick off from the Megastar's stronghold – the Uttarandhra region. The tour is expected to go on for a month and cover most of the state. Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalyan is meeting up with the fan club incharges from each district so that they make the necessary arrangements for holding roadshows. Meanwhile, in another development that was keenly watched was Chiru's meeting with SP leader Amar Singh and MP's Jaya Bachchan and Jayaprada. The three Samajwadi Party leaders spoke to the press later and termed the meeting as a courtesy call. They said that there was no discussion about the elections or a possible pact. 'Chiranjeevi is a friend of the Bachchan family and Mr. Bachchan wanted us to come and congratulate Mr. Chiranjeevi on his political entry. That is the only reason we are here. We have not discussed political pacts in the meeting', said Amar Singh. Ms. Jaya Bachchan said that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan respected Chiranjeevi very much and since he could not come personally, she had come to meet him. Ms. Jayaprada recalled the association she had with Chiranjeevi since her time as an actress and said that she was happy that a good person had come into politics.
