TDP leader Yerram Naidu took serious objection to the statement made by Praja Rajyam spokespersons Dr. Mithra and Dr. Parakala Prabhakar that they were the alternative to Congress in the state. He said that they will not become the alternative by sitting in AC offices and making statements. 'Any party should have a specific agenda and some policies and the courage to fight for the people. Has the Praja Rajyam party even tackled a single people's issue? Has it questioned the corruption prevalent in the Congress government? Without even attempting to tackle a single social issue, how can they call themselves the only alternative to the Congress? People do not have flowers in their ears to believe whatever they say', he said. When asked if the TDP was being opportunistic by tying up with the Left parties, he said that the pact with the Left was not new and so it cannot be called an electoral time alliance.
ll their opinions, he will finally take a favorable decision. Rajni fans are overjoyed and they think this is a sure sign of their Thalaivaa' entering state politics.
